It’s been about 8 months since we made the switch to being vegan and we are still finding new things and new places that we love – most recently, vegan pizza in vancouver. We were recently hosted at Rally Pizza in Vancouver, Washington to celebrate their VEG OUT month!
Vegan Pizza in Vancouver
All month long, they are featuring different vegetarian and vegan option on their menu with a new special each week!
After eating al Rally, I have changed my thoughts about vegan pizza! I can list so many things that do AND don’t taste like their non-vegan counterparts! For instance, vegan buffalo wings will never live up to actual buffalo wings. However, there are so many things that DO taste just as good, if not better, than non-vegan things! Pizza was always on my list of vegan things that didn’t hit the spot – UNTIL NOW. Rally’s vegan pizza in Vancouver blew me away! The pizza was SO flavorful and had so many elements that were simply phenomenal. The cheese was NOT missed in this pizza.
Most pizza places, replace the cheese with a dairy free alternative. Sometimes the alternative isn’t melty or has a weird texture. Rally Pizza uses cashew cream in place of cheese and it changed me. This elevated the pizza BEYOND all other vegan pizzas I have ever tried, and even some non-vegan pizza too!
We shared the Market Greens Salad and the Mezze Platter, too. Both were off the charts. The salad checked off all of my favorite flavors in one dish – sweet, salty, spicy, and sour – and they all blended beautifully. The Roasted Eggplant Spread in the Mezze Platter was probably my FAVORITE part of the entire meal. Even the curry cauliflower was a favorite by my husband who usually dislikes cauliflower!
Our pizza was a beautiful blend of tomato sauce, cashew cream, mushrooms, roasted peppers, greens, and a delicious salsa verde-type-sauce on top. We will definitely be going back whenever the pizza kick hits again.
Rally Pizza is located at: 8070 E Mill Plain Blvd, Vancouver, WA 98664
