COVID 19 (March 2020 edit!) This post has blown up with the recent changes in our country right now. If you are home with your child now, YOU CAN DO THIS! If you need an extra resource, starting Wednesday March 25, 2020 I will be doing FREE DAILY 30 minute virtual classes HERE for ages 5-8! Subscribe and follow along in the mornings to give yourself a moment to drink your coffee and plan the rest of your day! See you there!
Our Homeschool Tot School Schedule is one of our most viewed posts, especially this time of year! We listed out our plan but were unable to finish documenting everything from that year, because, LIFE! Am I right?!

Also, life with four kids now means “tot school” for us is the younger kids “watching” the older kids do school – or just letting them watch Super Why on the iPad! Obviously life with one child was a little easier back then! However, now that our oldest is officially of age, school is in session!
We decided that even though we are homeschooling, I want him to get used to a normal school day. We do “school” from 9AM-3PM which sounds like SUCH a long time, but it totally works for us. Especially, because we are not doing actual work that whole time. Also, the beauty of homeschool is being flexible and cutting things short when necessary.
I love that he is able to be engaged all day long, because I can cater his education to his liking and to his learning style.

- We always end our school day with about 20-30 minutes of yoga. It helps us all stretch and get in some light exercise. Try Cosmic Kids Yoga! The kids love it when YOU participate too!
I love this schedule so much and it works SO great for our family. The heavy curriculum work gets finished in the morning in case we have errands to run or things to do in the afternoon. If this is too much for your child, maybe try to only do this on M-W-F! Or do HALF days and do the subjects from 12-3pm on Tuesday and Thursday.
Also, the younger kids LOVE doing circle time and reading as a family. It keeps them occupied and entertained during that time and they get to feel like they’re involved too! Our preschooler will sometimes do coloring pages and worksheets during school time too.
That’s it! If you have any questions, feel free to comment or email ANY question and I will definitely help you out!
Have a happy school year!
