One of my favorite things ever are cupcake cakes! This Spring Pull-Apart Cookie Cake is a fun version of those! It’s easy, fun, and so versatile!
Since Spring in the Pacific Northwest usually still means rain, I wanted to capture my favorite parts about it even if we are still cooped up inside. In the Spring, we love berry picking, collecting our fresh eggs from our chickens, and baking!
Spring brings us out of our Winter funk after Christmas. Even though the rain lingers on, the weather warms up! This means it’s one step closer to spending all of our days outside! While we are still inside, I love finding fun things for us to do! The other day, we rolled out a huge piece of paper and painted watercolor all over it! Next, we had a rare sunny day and ate pizza out on the grass. Today, the rain kept us inside but we had tons of cookie fun!
Every now and then, cooking with the kids is stressful! However, sometimes I can come out of the fog and realize the memories are more important than the mess! Thankfully, when the kids want to bake (but I don’t want to clean), we can use Nestlé® Toll House® cookie dough! I love baking and creating recipes, but this takes all the work out of it and leaves the fun!
Spring Pull-Apart Cookie Cake
We decided to find a creative recipe hack using Nestlé® Toll House® cookie dough! Nestlé® Toll House®’s chocolate chip morsels are always my go-to when baking, but I LOVE having their pre-made cookie dough for days like this! They are great for the kids because they love breaking apart the squares and lining them up on the cookie sheet! I wanted to put a Spring twist on their cookie dough, so I made this Spring Pull-Apart Cookie Cake! It was seriously the easiest recipe ever and is now my new favorite baking hack!
There’s only TWO steps:
- Break apart the cookie dough squares and assemble in an ungreased cake or pie pan.
- Bake at 350 degrees for about 35 minutes
That’s it! Celebrate the coming of Spring with your family by gathering all your favorite pastel colored frostings, sprinkles, or candy and use some (OR ALL) of it to decorate your cookie cake!
You get the “put-together” part of the cake without the mess of cutting and serving it out! It’s a great way to get the family together to celebrate Easter or Spring. Let the kids help decorate and everyone can grab their own piece!
