Baby Snack Time can always be fun, especially if you get creative with flavors and textures! Trenton is almost out of the baby stage, but I am holding on to it as hard and as long as I can until Baby #4 arrives!
Baby Snack Time
Snack time is the best time to be creative and have your baby try a variety of different food types. We take these times to experiment with new and healthy foods! This works better than trying new foods during regular meals, because if they don’t like it, you don’t have to make a whole new meal!
In this post I am going to be focusing more on ages 12-18 months – although Happy Family’s new yogurt line at Target (Happy Baby) is great for ages 6-18 months!
**As always, if you are introducing new foods to your baby under 12 months – make sure you try the same new food a few days in a row before switching to something else.
We love trying different textures! Starting with crackers and then moving on to softer foods like blueberries! We recently purchased Happy Family’s new yogurt to try! We grabbed a few containers of the Happy Baby Yogurt cups and a few of the Happy Tot Yogurt pouches for the older boys.
As expected, our “baby” wanted to have the big boy yogurts like his brothers.
Make it fun!
Sometimes, as a mom, I let my anxiety get the best of me, even when my kids have good intentions. This is why I try to let things go as much as I can, especially during snack time. As you can see – TJ had more fun using his fingers to try the banana + sweet potato yogurt! He then tried feeding ME with the spoon instead 😛
I love all the new flavor combinations in Happy Family’s yogurt! Their tot pouches had chia in them and the Happy Baby cups had fun hidden veggies (like sweet potato!)
It’s important to us that we feed our kids healthier options and organic food when possible!
That’s another reason we love this Happy Family Yogurt. It had non-GMO ingredients, NO added sweeteners, probiotics, AND whole milk! So great for our baby during baby snack time! Check out your local Target Store to see if they have the kind of Happy Family yogurt you want in stock!
