We were so thankful to get tickets to the Avengers Station at Treasure Island – in more ways than one!
This post has been difficult to write. The day we visited, was the last day we spent with my dad. My father died unexpectedly at the end of our family trip. Luckily, his last day was spent at the Avengers Station around all of his favorite things. His family, his grandchildren, comics and superheros! If you haven’t watched our Travel Vlog at the Avengers Station, watch it below.
We were gifted tickets for the whole family to the Avengers Station and I am so thankful for that time! It was such a fun experience and a special time we will never forget.
My boys always go back and watch this video to remember grandpa and the fun time they had at Avenger’s Station.
Avengers Station at Treasure Island
I cannot begin to explain how excited the boys were to go to this. Even before we left Oregon, the boys would sit on my dad’s lap and look at the front of Avenger’s Station on Google Maps. It was so sweet! When we first looked into this attraction, the thing that we found most appealing was that it was an interactive museum! There are things to do, games to play, and information to read about the characters and the movies!
It was a great learning experience and it was so interactive!
When you first walk inside, you start in the gift shop! The boys could have spent all day in the gift shop. Even if you didn’t want to pay to go inside the attraction, there is plenty to do in the gift shop! My dad and the boys spent a while becoming Iron Man and doing a VR battle in the city! The boys thought this part was SO cool.
Now it was time to go INSIDE!
The walk through was guided by our agent devices and quizzed you at the end of each section. The sections were divided by each avenger and taught you about who they were and what they could do. I think our favorite rooms were the Hulk/ Bruce Banner room and the room with EVERY Ironman suit – ever!
The Special Moment
At the end of the exhibit – you can finish it off with a battle against Ultron! The boys were looking forward to this part the most. Little did I know that these last moments were the last I would capture of my father with our boys. I love seeing his arms wrapped around Nolan, helping him beat Ultron together.
At the end of our journey as SHIELD agents, the boys got their official agent badges and we all got a group photo, some souvenirs, and cake pops downstairs in the coffee shop!
Thanks for having us Avengers STATION! We had such an enjoyable time and we will remember it forever!
If you are in Las Vegas, especially with your children, make sure you check out Avengers Station! It was our favorite place to go when we were in Vegas. If you have time, check out the fun stuff in the gift shop first, and you will for sure want to experience the whole thing!
