For Trenton’s First Birthday party, I wanted to keep it low maintenance, but I wanted to give him some fun memories! We decided we would go all out with his cake smash instead! This was the best, since that’s my favorite part of 1st birthday parties anyway. Him and his brother’s love reading books! We decided to do a fun and bright Dr. Seuss Cake Smash theme!
I made TJ a diaper cover and a bow tie for him to wear during the party and the cake smash. It was fun to make and it tied in with the banner that I made too!
He had such a great birthday and he loved eating the cake (well…the frosting)!

I made him a fluffy banana cake with store bought frosting and he was WAY more into the frosting than the cake, obviously!
