Christmas is my favorite! I love all of the lights and the magic in the air. But if I had to think of just one thing that I loved the most – it would be baking!
The smell of sugar cookies all day long and setting my boys on the counter so they can help. Flour and sprinkles EVERYWHERE. I love trying new recipes and repeating the ones that I have done since I was a child helping my own mom. Last week, we took our family pictures on a Christmas tree farm in ugly Christmas sweaters. It was magical and I can’t wait to share it with you! Some of them are so funny!
J got to saw down his own little Christmas tree and he was so proud! It’s amazing getting to see Christmas through your children’s eyes. I love how they get excited about the little things like decorating the tree and counting the stockings day after day.
Immaculate Christmas “Brookie” Bars
Christmas is such a great time to have family and friends over – especially for snacks, coffee, and hot chocolate! We usually make fun sugar cookies, peanut brittle, and turtle candies! This year, it was so much fun to include Immaculate Baking Co in our holiday baking this year! As I thought of what I could make, I wanted to stay true to the flavors of their baking mixes and these Christmas “brookies” did just that! If you don’t already know what a brookie is – it is a brownie AND a cookie mushed together!
Immaculate Baking Company’s mission is to create wholesome baking products (with lots of Gluten Free and Organic options!) This recipe stays true to their standards…minus the sprinkles because, well… everyone loves sprinkles! Plus they give the brookies such a beautiful Christmasy look, right?!

The best part about these is letting my boys help cut them out and pour the sprinkles on! Its fun to make a mess with sprinkles and then N likes picking each little sprinkle left over with his hands. Here is $1 off Immaculate baking products to make some of your own!
