There is almost nothing that I love more than salmon.
Salmon tastes amazing and it is actually pretty easy to cook! Plus it is so healthy! (Maybe not when you put lemon cream sauce on it though 😉 Oh well! It is still delicious!
I used to not like shrimp very much but lately it has been one of my favorites! And paired with salmon and a cajun rub – YUM!
Even my 10 month old loved it! My two year old isn’t fond of almost any meat but he did have a little bit too! And I will call that a win any day!
Cajun Shrimp and Salmon with a Lemon Cream Sauce

Ingredients
- 6 Salmon Fillets
- 1 pound of shrimp cleaned and shelled
- 1 tbs chili powder
- 1 tbs paprika
- ½ tbs garlic + herb seasoning
- salt and pepper to taste
- ¼ cup lemon juice
- ½ cup of heavy cream
- ½ cup of butter
- 1 tsp garlic herb seasoning
Instructions
- Mix all of the spices in a bowl and rub shrimp and salmon with it
- Put a little bit of olive oil in a pan and heat it up
- Once oil is hot place salmon skin side down first
- Cook for 5-8 minutes
- Flip salmon over after skin is crispy
- Add shrimp to the pan.
- Cook another 5-8 minutes.
- While this is cooking, melt butter in a sauce pan
- Add the lemon juice, heavy cream, and seasoning
- Keep on low until it boils
- Keep it on a low boil to let it thicken.
- When finished, eat with rice or noodles and pour sauce on top!
