There are so many reasons to start using crock pots! These are some of our reasons!
We love doing rice bowls. Chicken rice bowls, veggie rice bowls, taco rice bowls – and this week was a Teriyaki Beef Rice Bowl! What better way to do it, than in a slow cooker!
Slow Cooker Teriyaki Beef

Ingredients
- 3 Pounds of boneless Beef Chuck Roast, cubed or cut into strips
- 1 cup of beef broth
- ½ cup of soy sauce (low sodium, if preferred)
- ½ cup brown sugar
- 1 tablespoon of mirin
- 1 tablespoon of rice vinegar
- 4 cloves of garlic
- ½ teaspoon onion powder
- ½ teaspoon ground ginger
- ½ teaspoon white pepper
- 1 teaspoon of Sriracha (or more)
- 1 tablespoon of sesame seeds
Instructions
- Cut chuck roast and place in slow cooker
- In a bowl, whisk or stir together all ingredients
- Pour mixture over beef and stir to coat
- Cover and Cook on low for 7 hours or on high for 4
- Pour over cooked rice (or whatever you prefer)!
Other tips:
- Add cooked shredded carrots or edamame
- Top with more sesame seeds and green onions
- Thicken sauce with cornstarch
- Line your Crock Pot with these amazing liners for an even easier clean up!
- Save leftovers and make a broccoli beef noodle stir fry!
