At the last minute I chose to start a focused preschool at home with Little Ox #1. I knew he was still a little young to start this but we needed something to focus on and create more structure in our day. He does best when his day is planned and structured – we end up with less tantrums, more listening, and longer attention spans.
There is SO much content out there for homeschoolers from pre-k through high school but not a ton focused on toddlers or “tot school”. However, I was able to find a few things to help me get started. I am using a lot of preschool material that is still over his head, but we are using these first couple weeks to see what works for him and what he likes best.
After planning out this upcoming school year – we have 34 themes planned out and I would love to share them with you and after each week, post a review with tips and content that worked for us throughout that week.
I knew I needed a planning sheet for my purposes and after searching Pinterest for hours, I was unable to find what I was looking for. I gave up and made something myself. I could keep the week’s activities, lessons, and important things all in one place. Look at the terms below to Print it and use it yourself.
We have a schedule for every day that lists how we work in our theme every day of the week, too. You can find that post HERE.

That was our schedule for the year! Obviously, make changes as needed to your lifestyle and the personality of your toddler! Under each day of the week is where I will write the specific activity we are doing that day (starfish cookies, or cut and glue shark book). This is what we figured out together and I think it will be a great year with a lot of learning and growth (from the both of us!)
Enjoy this Weekly Homeschool Planner {Free Printable} that helps me schedule and plan our lesson for the week so I can have our homeschool and life plans all on one planning page!
